CARSON CITY, Nev., May 2, 2025 — 3 Proton Lithium (3PL) today announced that its Railroad Valley project has received special designation as a FAST-41 Transparency Critical Mineral Project by the Trump Administration. This designation is part of the Administration’s ongoing efforts to rapidly advance U.S. domestic critical mineral projects and secure American energy independence.
“This special designation from the Trump Administration highlights Railroad Valley’s importance as a cornerstone project for building and securing America’s critical mineral supply chain,” said Vince Ramirez, CEO of 3PL. “The inclusion of 3PL’s Railroad Valley project in this initiative underscores its exceptional potential to significantly contribute to the domestic production of lithium, boron, and other critical minerals essential for advanced domestic energy technologies, defense applications, and manufacturing.”
The FAST-41 Transparency designation, administered by the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council in partnership with the National Energy Dominance Council, is reserved for projects identified as strategically significant to U.S. national security, economic growth, and energy self-reliance. The Railroad Valley project will benefit from a structured, accountable permitting timeline and coordinated interagency oversight.

3PL recently published its 2024 Resource Report, which confirmed that its Railroad Valley project is home to the largest lithium and boron deposit in North America.
